Employee Benefits
Hourly Pay
For each hour you
work you are compensated.
Most contracts will allow 40-45 hours per week. You
are paid every two weeks - we pay you via automatic deposit before the client
pays us.
Taxes Withheld
All of your taxes
are withheld and paid by JDR – including unemployment, social security and
federal withholding.
Health Insurance
If you are a full time employee working 30 hours or more per week, you and your
family can select from one of our two Humana plans. Both are full medical
plans.
Dental Insurance
If you elect to participate in our health insurance, you will also elect a
dental plan that is provided by Blue Cross.
Life/AD&D and Short Term Disability Insurance
Any full time employee will be eligible for $15,000 of Life and AD&D
insurance along with Short Term Disability. The Short Term Disability
pays a benefit of $100 per week beginning with the 8th day of illness or first day of accident. The duration of Short Term Disability is six months.
Long Term Disability Insurance
Any employee working a minimum of 20 hours per week is eligible. The Long Term
Disability benefit begins after 6 months of disability and will pay up to 60%
of your gross compensation with a monthly benefit not to exceed $6000 per
month.
401(k) Plan
Any employee working more than 20 hours per week will be eligible after six
months. The plan offers a number of funds from which you can choose with varied
amounts of risk.
Errors and Omissions/Workers Compensation
You are automatically covered under JDR's $1 million errors and omissions
policy and our worker compensation policy.
Marketability
You will be enhancing your skills by working in our client's state of the art
facilities and increasing your technical knowledge base. JDR represents some of
the top companies in America.
User Group Membership
Membership and meeting dues are compliments of JDR - you receive the latest
technical training tips and techniques and get to mingle with other programmers
and managers in the community.
Focused Resources
JDR represents people only - we do not sell hardware or software or other
services - we are purely in the people business. We provide you with
contract, contract for hire, and permanent opportunities.
Options
If you are working at a client site that you particularly like and desire
permanent employment with them, we will arrange a position with the client for
you if appropriate - we do allow our clients to hire our consultants.
Paid Time Off
You will accrue paid leave with every approved hour you work. The leave
will equate to a minimum of two weeks in a normal full time year.
